Summer Internship with PSFCU and Catholic University of Lublin

We are pleased to announce that on May 20, 2025, the President/CEO of the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union, Bogdan Chmielewski, and the Rector of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Rev. Prof. Dr. Hab. Mirosław Kalinowski, signed an agreement on cooperation between PSFCU and CUL in the field of summer student internships!

This summer, several students selected from among the young members of our Union will take part in a unique internship program that combines professional development, historical education, and cultural exchange. Program participants will also take part in language and media workshops and visit the most beautiful corners of Poland, including Warsaw, where they will visit the Presidential Palace, Lublin, Kazimierz Dolny, Krakow, and the famous Wieliczka Salt Mine.

PSFCU fully covers the costs of their stay in Poland, including accommodation and meals. Additionally, each participant will receive a scholarship of up to $1,000 for educational purposes. This will allow students to focus solely on learning, developing and discovering their Polish heritage.

The aim of the PSFCU and CUL initiative is not only the professional development of young people, but also the strengthening of Polish-American ties through direct experience of Polish culture, history and contemporary academic life, and thus shaping future leaders of the Polish diaspora who will connect both sides of the Atlantic with their knowledge and experience.
