Invitation to serve on the PSFCU Supervisory Committee

Pursuant to Article IX, Item 1, of the Bylaws of the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union, the Supervisory Committee is appointed by the Board of Directors from among the Credit Union members.

The Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union (PSFCU) invites its members to run for office on the PSFCU Supervisory Committee. Candidates must consent to verification of their personal information and credit history and qualify for a binding guarantee from the PSFCU’s insurance company. Experience in accounting or internal controls and experience in working at a financial institution is preferable. Committee members receive no financial compensation.

The Committee’s basic duties include making sure of the following:
• Annual audits of the PSFCU financial statements have been conducted and are accurate and reliable;
• The legal guidelines and regulations established by the Board of Directors are observed;
• There is an adequate system of internal controls; and
• Member assets are protected and made use of in accordance with the needs of the PSFCU.
